General Conditions

  • Route available until December 2024 (included).
  • The stay starts on Sunday and finishes on Sunday.
  • The route is not valid for departures between 7 July and 18 August, both inclusive.
  • Neither dates of the stay nor the establishments can be varied or modified during the route.
  • This route and rate are not valid for groups.
  • A credit card will always be required as a guarantee of the reservation.

Cancellations and appearance

  • The price of the first night of the route shall be the cancellation fee charged for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the day of arrival.
  • Cancellations made during the route shall not be entitled to any refund of the price paid.
  • No appearance: If the guest does not appear on the first day of the route, it will imply the cancellation of the complete route and the payment of the first night as a cancellation fee. Taxes included.

The route does not include

Transport shall be at the expense of the guests, as will the tours and access to monuments or places of interest (the information offered is of a merely indicative nature).

Itinerary

Day 1

Embark on a journey to Cuenca, an enchanting town full of picture-perfect moments waiting to be captured! From its iconic hanging houses overlooking the Huécar river – almost as if greeting you with open arms – and stunning plaza mayor, cathedral and churches that come alive in all their majesty; take your time admiring each like masterpiece taking you back through history. But it doesn’t end there – 30km away lies nature’s paradise: The Enchanted City filled with limestone rock structures shaped as streets, squares groves even boats guarded by a giant head who watches over this beautiful whimsy land. All around modern art awaits for those curious minds wanting to explore contemporary scenes against the backdrop of millennia-old architecture. A must-see destination not easily forgotten!

Day 2

Alcalá de Henares serves as a doorway to the rich cultural history of its literary great, Miguel Cervantes. Amongst this sprawling cityscape of palaces, convents and civil buildings lies 1499’s Cardinal Cisneros’ construction: The world’s first university campus! Walk through charming cobbled streets home to an impressive cathedral – Iglesia Magistral Catedral de los Santos Justo y Pastor – , discover ruins steeped in centuries-old secrets like Santa María Mayor or meander down bustling Calle Mayor for heavenly tapas stops and shops…but don’t forget those iconic porticoes that proudly guard his humble birthplace; Don Quixote himself would have been proud!

Day 3

Segovia is a city that will captivate you with its majestic monuments and historical attractions, ranging from the imposing Roman Aqueduct to medieval churches. Indulge your senses in local delicacies such as tapas bars offering free treats or savor traditional bean stew and crispy suckling pig dishes while wandering through this remarkable destination. For an enriched experience of Spain’s glorious past ,visit La Granja de San Ildefonso Royal Palace situated nearby which dates back to 18th century!

Day 4 & 5

Discover the timeless beauty and charm of Ávila, a World Cultural Heritage city. Explore its perfect wall with 88 turrets and 9 doors, some as majestic as those at Alcázar or San Vicente. Marvel in awe at the 11th-century fortified cathedral of San Salvador; wander through Santa Teresa convent (17th century); get lost among Renaissance palaces & Romanesque churches – all reminders of their beloved patron saint who also gave her name to the famous ‘yemas de santa teresa’. For breathtaking views overlooking this magnificent ancient cityscape go no further in the evening to Cuatro Postes Calvary show. 

Day 6 & 7

Our fabulous journey ends in Salamanca – a metropolis that radiates history, heritage and beauty. Wander the Baroque Plaza Mayor, take in its harmonious delight, and slip into cosy cafés for an unforgettable drink! Marvel at monuments like Casa de las Conchas which is decked with hundreds of shells on its façade or explore the University – one of Spain’s oldest dating back to the 16th century – where you can admire gargoyles and bell towers high atop outdoor terraces. Let yourself be enchanted by all there is this remarkable destination has to offer!
